  1. Using this imagery, the Bible presents the resurrection of Jesus as the "first fruits" of the resurrection of the righteous. The gathering of the Church Age saints, living and dead, at the appearing of the Lord (the Rapture) is thus the general harvest stage of the resurrection of the righteous (John and 1 Thessalonians ).
  2. The saints will surely have a role in judgment but when we attempt to pin down exactly when this will happen, we only find biblical evidence of such judgment taking place in Heaven right now among an apparent board of the senior 24 elders, carefully appointed by our Lord. This appears to also answer the question of 1 Corinthians
  3. and Jude 14 declare (“all the saints with Him”). That Old Testament saints will be part of the church seems clear also from Christ’s statement that “Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad” (Jn Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
  4. Feb 03,  · The word "Christ" in the "judgment seat of Christ," means "Messiah, the anointed one." Since Christ is the judge and king, very likely he is the member of the Godhead that OT saints would stand before. There is not an explicit statement but it makes sense that he would conduct the judgment of OT saints as well as NT saints.
  5. A discography of commercial sound recordings of bluegrass music, that portion of the country/folk music universe which was based largely on the string band music of Bill Monroe, Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, the Stanley Brothers, and others, originating in the mids. Included are singles, EPs, LPs, CDs, as well as information on the labels releasing these recordings.
  6. Not only will the saints reign with Christ, they will also judge with Him (Rev. Rev. +).It is important to realize that even though the saints will perform judgment, this will not be the dominant activity during the Millennial Kingdom, at least not in the sense of meting out punishments. 1 Note that the term “judge” is used in a broader sense in Scripture than in our common parlance.
  7. Feb 13,  · Deacon Dick Almos, right, administers ashes as he and the Rev. Harry Jenkins, left, tend to motorists March 1, , during the Ashes to Go program at Christ Episcopal Church in Slidell.
  8. Revelation says that there would be , of the elect. (Rev. ; NIV) This is not meant to be the final number, but a "mystical" number that indicates a vast amount. (It is mystical because it is a multiple of 12, and twelve is the number of the original apostles.) If you look the saints over, you should be able to identify at least.
